Enemy Difficulty Curve Balancer
A downloadable tool
Enemy Difficulty Curve Balancer
Stop balancing enemy progression level by level.
Enemy Difficulty Curve Balancer lets you model enemy HP and damage growth against player HP and DPS progression, then instantly see where your combat curve becomes too easy, too hard, too slow, or dangerously unbalanced.
Set your level-1 values, define how both sides scale, and simulate the full progression curve up to 200 levels.
See the balance problem before you playtest it
The tool calculates and tracks:

Important
The Difficulty Score is a relative progression metric designed to reveal changes in challenge across your level curve.
It is not a universal measurement of how difficult a game will feel.
Real combat difficulty also depends on player skill, abilities, movement, AI, encounter design, healing, critical hits and many other systems.
Use the tool to find progression problems quickly, then validate final numbers through playtesting.
